Join us at the Geeks for Kids 2024 Happy Hour.  For current friends of LEARN's Geeks for Kids, it is a time to celebrate, reflect on a job well done and learn more about the kids who are about to receive the #Power2Play.  For those new to Geeks for Kids, it is a time to get inspired and to learn how you too can be a driving force in giving kids with movement limitations the #Power2Play.

At Geeks for Kids, we make sure every child experiences the magic of play. Play is the work of childhood. It is how kids learn, grow and connect to others. Yet, kids with movement limitations sit on life’s sidelines, watching others play. They have 70 to 90% fewer social interactions than their peers.

We give these kids the #Power2Play by designing and building a custom, electric car and other assistive devices for each child’s specific needs. And every car, no matter how complex, is delivered at no cost to the recipient family.

As the demand for Geeks for Kids mobility solutions grows, we must grow too. We are seeking volunteers, ambassadors, sponsors, donors, program team leaders, referral partners and board members.

Help Kids Like Arthur

"Numerous strokes have left Arthur [age 2] with little control over his left side. He can no longer explore the world the way he used to. Having a car would allow Arthur to re-experience some of his favorite activities with more independence. We hope it will help him relearn some of his previous gross motor skills."
